  I was taken here as a surprise 50th treat by my best friend. Must say one of the best times I have had, the location and setting are superb and a real one off. How many hotels do you take a Fast Rib Boat to get to! Staff are very attentive and it really was like being Lord of your own Castle at sea. The place is steeped in history and they have kept this theme throughout the fort even into the bedrooms which are the old large gun stations. (only 8 bedroom in total !) for all that room. The food was amazing and after dinner we retired to the top deck by the fire pit to soak in the atmosphere looking out over the sea. To top it all the chef came up at 1am with his fishing rod, dropped it over the side caught a Mullet, dressed and wrapped it in Banana leaves and then cooked it over the fire pit for us (totally unexpected.) Reccommend to all for a real one of experience
